PGA Jr. League- 13U division

Program highlights:
-13U division (13U division is open to players that haven’t reached their 14th birthday by 8/1/21)
-Girls and boys playing a two person 9 hole scramble broken up into (3) three hole segments called flags
-This is NOT a program exclusively for competitive junior golfers; this is a fun, engaging, social atmosphere to play in a team setting with other girls and boys
-Practices and matches will here at UNC Finley on the practice facilities and golf course
-Practices and matches will be led by PGA Members, Associates and golf staff
-UNC Finley team members receive benefits of (2) free golf vouchers, discounted range ball pricing, discounts on merchandise in golf shop (all these items are included in the registration fee)
-PGA Jr. league will provide (2) numbered jerseys, Jr. League T-shirt, string bag, hat and bag tag (all these items are included in the registration fee)
-There is no minimum age to participate a player simply needs to carry or use a push cart to take care of their clubs; there are no caddies or parent coaching in PGA Jr. league golf.
-Due to our modified golf operation there will only be one score keeper parent per group allowed with a golf cart; all other parents and spectators are welcome to walk along and cheer on their junior golfer
-There will be no post round food and beverage or physical scoreboard as in past seasons. Scoring will be posted through the SportsEngine app and via email at the conclusion of play
-Registration fee of $375 is inclusive of all matches, practices, UNC Finley Jr. League ID card, PGA Jr. league shirts and other goodies and items above
Program schedule:
-Kickoff event Saturday May 1st (exact time, format and structure TBD)
-Matches will be on Saturday afternoons likely with a tee time start. Practices will be a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon depending on team; each junior golfer will have a match or practice weekly, but not both
-Players can attend as many matches, practices for their team as possible, but not required to attend all events to be on the team
Practices will be as follows:
-Rams Tuesday 4:15-5:15pm
-Heels Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm
-Blues Thursday 4:15-5:15pm
-Gems Thursday 5:30-6:30pm
Matches for all teams will be Saturdays:
-May 15th, 29th
-June 12th, 26th
-July 10th
At the conclusion of our regular season there will be all-star selections for eligible 13U division for post-season.
